In need of rest... or adventure?

For a little otherwordly taste or simply for a good pipe beside the hearth, travelers from the Realms will always be Welcomed in the Clockwork Inn! One adventurer might have seen one in Waterdeep, while another hid in its ruins in Thay, while yet another one could swear it was run by gnomes in an old Dwarven city. They are all right! Nobody really knows where the first Clockwork Inn was built (if it was built), but everybody agree on one thing: You find them everywhere.
At the very first glance, you know this is not just another inn. Trust the stories you hear; You will always be able to tell if it is a Clockwork Inn! Yet ths is nothing compared to what you will see inside, and once again, nobody agrees on what they have seen. But they all agree that it was incredible!
Known accross the multiverse, the Clockwork Inn will propose the most incredible recipes, share the most incredible tales, and if you stick your fingers where you should not, it can also throw you in the most incredible of Adventures!

Tired adventurers, don't look any further! Rest your tired bones at the Clockwork Inn and it will wind you right up!

The Forest camp of Bunyan TrollAxe

Daggerford has always been ruled by merchants.  The plots and schemes of these lords have never been to the liking of Bunyan Trollaxe. Not 5 years ago, Bunyan indebted without hope, strugling to make a living as a lumberman. Although poor, Trollaxe as always been respected or feared by all, because of his size and sheer brutal prowesses.  For this reason, the son of a rich ship builder trying to impress his dying father ( to gain his favors over his two broters ), decided the settled all of Bunyan debts and employ him for a project: Rid the forest hills of Troll Woods of enough varmin to establish a new lumbercamp, allowing them access to wood of excellent quality for cheap. Hateful of merchants, but even more hateful of his debts, Trollaxe accepted grudgingly.

Handpicking the strongest and most fierce lumberman he knew, Trollaxe set to rid the woods of goblins, kobolds and such. He even managed along the way to cut a deal with elves inhabiting the woods, allowing him to cut the trees in exchange for his services. Using this deal, he forced the ship builder son to pay him handsomely as well as assuring his position at the head of the camp; the deal with the elves being only valid as long as Trollaxe was in charge.

Building fortified walls and towers, the lumber camp did not only turn out to be very profitable to both Bunyan and the ship builder, but is also reguarded as a strategic defense post by the Watch of Daggerford. Scouts from the city keep in touch every week. Work there is hard but rewarding and business is good.

That is, until recently. Occasional goblins sneaking in the woods turned into occasional warbands led by Hobgoblins. The lumbermen get ambushed almost everyday. For the last two months, this tranquil lumbercamp has seen more and more action. Not that Trollaxe is not happy to add to his long list of goblin victims, but dealing with Hobgoblins does worry the huge foreman.

Selune's Eye Lighthouse

The Swordcoast is mostly cliffs riddled with caves, the coasts are dangerous with sharp prodruding rocks. Not a single port exist between Waterdeep and Baldur's Gate.

Where Grayflow River opens out to the sea stand a lone structure, a lighthouse, braving the violent winds and tides, and serving as the first sign that travelers are nearing Waterdeep, and also to warn of the sand banks.
Always the guides in the night, Selunites keep the lighthouse ablaze with the divine light of their god. It also is a convenient location for small merchant ships to load or unload some goods, as Daggerford is only a few miles upstream.

The Priest of Selune minding the small village very rarely see any action, as very few people oppose the lighthouse. Although the Swordcoast is a dangeous place, and they often have to repel some scavenging beasts or sea creatures, but such skimishes have never caused a problem. Until recently. The few fishermen and dockworkers living at the lighthouse, or close by, have reported to the selunites strange attacks by insect like creatures. At the moment, it obviously seem to be mostly scavenging of food or explorating groups, but the priest are keeping an eye out. Some say that wherever you see one Kruthik, a thousand more follow, like ants.

On the bank of Greyflow River...

Lies the merchant city of Daggerford.
A fairly populous and quite industrious city, Daggerford is the last river city along the Greyflow river before reaching the Sea of Sword, and see a lot of traffic from Waterdeep and the Western Heartlands.
Ruled by families of merchant, Daggerford is a neutral and welcoming city for whoever has a gold to spare.

Strongly walled and protected by well trained soldiers, Daggerford has resisted to many threat in the past, may it be goblinoid raiders, tribes of ogres or trolls.

But how long will this properous city see its life style unchanged?

Sailing on the Sea of Swords

Dangerous are the water of the Sea of Sword. No sane captain would try and brave the fury of the sea without a stout vessel.

Here is a picture of the ship used by our Heroes as they sail to and from the Moonshae Isles.

This three-mated galleon is heavily armed and prepared to face the perils of the sea.
The ship belongs to a freelance captain in the employment of Waterdeep's many guilds.
