On the trail of our Heroes

After leaving the wreckages of the ship Fidelity, sank in the sand banks close to Selune's Eye Lighthouse, our adventurers finished their return trip to Waterdeep, where some gold and much surprises awaited them.

Their guild paid them their wage upon receiving the shipment, but the letter from Galarnok Partak had the effect of a fireball! Furious, the guild officer went straight to somebody of higher rank to discuss the issue... Meanwhile, our heroes went shopping at the Red Wizards of Splendor. A recently opened, and closely watched, enclave of Red Wizards mercantiles. The money spending was cut short though, as their guild officials summoned them for a meeting.

As it turned out, their investigation of the Undeath infection had not gone unoticed by their guild, and always the politicians, they saw this as an opportunity. Without too much clarity, the guild officier hinted that "Someone in high places" had noticed the adventurers, and so they were now free of their engagement! Even better: It seemed that Stuh Ryback, Paladin of Torm, had left a message for Filykiel at the shrine, recounting the last moments of the "Fidelity". Unbelieving, the heroes left the city and went on their only trail: Selune's Eye Lighthouse.

On their way, they met with a robust group of adventurers who offered them to share camps and tales. Diplomacy here allowed our heroes to make new allies in their research, by informing them of their suspucion. Turns out these adventurers met undead on the roads, but had not thought much of it.

At their (quite amusing) arrival at Selune's Eye Lighthouse, they were invited by Guide Telandra, and around a tea cup, they discussed of these undeads, and also of a recent problem the lighthouse was facing: Kruthik's infestion. Always ready to help, and in much need for action, they took this chance to test their steel against these creatures, who proved to be fierce opponents.

What lies hidden amongs the corpses of these inests still remain to be seen, as our heroes wipe the blood from their weapon...
